Chiao-Chieh Lin (CCL) is a multidisciplinary creative based in Taipei, Taiwan, and a graduate of the BA Visual Communication program at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.
For CCL, creativity is not confined to a single discipline—it is a way of understanding and engaging with the world.
Her practice moves across visual design, photography, ceramics, and sensory exploration. Rather than being defined by a particular medium, she is drawn to the subtle relationships between people, materials, space, memory, and time. Each medium becomes another language through which invisible thoughts and emotions can take form.
In recent years, her curiosity has expanded into ceramics, aromatherapy, philosophy, and the quiet observations of everyday life. These experiences are not separate pursuits, but interconnected ways of refining how she perceives, creates, and connects. They continue to shape a creative practice grounded in sensitivity, intuition, and presence.
CCL is less interested in pursuing a fixed style than in cultivating an honest way of seeing. She believes meaningful work emerges through careful attention—to light, texture, rhythm, proportion, and the traces of time. Rather than striving for perfection, she values authenticity, allowing each piece to reflect the unique moment in which it was created.
To her, creating is not about arriving at answers, but about remaining curious—observing, feeling, and translating lived experience into forms that invite others to slow down, reconnect, and discover beauty in the overlooked.
She hopes her work offers not only something to be seen, but something to be quietly experienced.
